Gable & Dutch Gable Façade
The always popular gable façade incorporates a traditional gable roofline. A verandah adds character to any gable façade, while a portico and double verandah posts provides that special Australian touch. The Dutch gable façade is often used to add character to larger homes, where the roofline tends to be monotonous. It is commonly combined with traditional gables to create a uniquely charming family home.
Modern Gable Façade
Influenced by Scandinavian design, this facade is a paired back and simplified take on our traditional gable design. Refined detailing accentuates the building geometry and emphasises the pitched roof forms, to create a striking and memorable street presence.
Single Skillion Façade
The skillion façade is generally used but not limited to our single module homes such as the Suburban and Brooklyn designs. The raked ceiling and high narrow windows in the living areas add a degree of space, while the optional verandah provides the perfect retreat for a sunny afternoon.
Split Skillion Façade
The split-skillion façade is iconic to Anchor Homes and is consistently a bestseller. It is generally used in conjunction with our Shoreham series. High windows in the living, meals and kitchen areas open up each room and add to the airy atmosphere. The high roof allows for a soaring ceiling, adding light and space and bringing a feeling of size and opulence to any design.
Refined detailing accentuates the striking building form, while still including all the popular features from the original Split Skillion facade, such as, raked ceilings and high-level windows for cross ventilation. The fully covered entry portico creates a statement point of arrival, whist protecting you from the elements.
