We recently completed a modular home on a rural bush property in Bald Hills, just north of Eden, NSW.
Our clients wanted a stylish, low-maintenance home, that felt spacious and light, had plenty of shared living space, and could be customised to suit their site restrictions and personal tastes.
The answer was the 3-bedroom Seaford 16.
The Seaford’s 9-foot ceilings help create a modern, airy feel throughout, and the ample windows let the light in, making the most of the surrounding views. A generous open-plan living space with access to the large Merbau deck outside is perfect for entertaining or relaxing in the sun with family and friends.
Our clients customised the exterior, combining the modern Cubehaus façade on the bedroom side, with the Skillion façade over the living area. The cladding is hard-wearing Weathertex, with a contrasting horizontal feature at the front entrance.
The internal layout was also slightly modified to suit the block’s access, with the kitchen and living area moved to the other side, so the front door could face the south-east and meet the driveway.
The master bedroom has an ensuite and sliding doors that lead outside to a deck.
The bathroom is modern and spacious, and features a tiled shower base and walk-in shower. The kitchen is highlighted by optional designer light fittings, and the inclusion of a walk-in pantry creates lots of extra storage space.
The living area’s dual access sliding doors open out to the spacious deck, looking out to the forest beyond. This peaceful outlook creates a sense of calm, and gives our clients the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
